Hodge Podge
That used to be my nickname. Yep, one of my good friends from college used to call me Hodge, and I called her Hodge too or HP. I really don’t remember why or how that started, but it did. I have a feeling it had to do with a certain dinner at the Olive Garden where I almost hit a beaver driving us home (seriously) but that’s besides the point. Anyway, we knew hodge podge for all intensive purposes meant a “mess of things” or a “collection of things,” but to us it meant “things that made life fun and wonderful and beautiful” (like us, duh!).
My HODGE PODGE today (click on the pictures for more information):
A hot cup of Cassi tea (a spoonful of sugar and a spoonful of honey, the sweeter the better! with a slice of lemon) on a Sunday morning.
Pretty vases, all kinds, display them, fill them with flowers, use as a centerpiece, etc.
Wearable art, jewelry designed with a natural element
Ecofriendly design
A book, especially one involving friendship and lovely photographs
A delicious recipe (found yesterday!)
As you know I love to eat so I had to check out that cupcake recipe….WOW! Can you say “sounds delicious?”
